This marks F5 Shanghai’s fourth appearance on the Cannes Lions stage in recent years, following previous speaking engagements in 2019, 2023 and 2025. For an independent creative agency from China, it is another important opportunity to share perspectives from one of the world’s fastest-changing markets.

As a representative agency from China, F5 will bring first-hand observations from the front line of a market defined by speed: the rapid development of technology, the reinvention of production models, the rise of new brands, and the constant evolution of creativity.

In recent years, China has created many new benchmarks in marketing, branding, technology and commerce. But what interests the global industry most is not only the benchmarks themselves, but the reasons behind them.

Why are things moving so fast? What cultural, technological and business forces are driving this change? What will happen next? And most importantly, how can the branding and marketing industry adapt to this new speed?

The Cannes Lions session will explore how Asia is shaping the future of commerce, how brands can scale across cultures without losing distinction, and how AI can help build brands faster while protecting what makes them unique.

“It is always our pleasure to tell the stories behind the work, behind the market, and behind the changes shaping the future of creativity,” said Adams Fan. “China is one of the fastest-moving creative and business environments in the world. We look forward to sharing what we are seeing, learning and building from the front line.”

F5 Shanghai looks forward to joining the conversation in Cannes and contributing a China perspective to one of the world’s most influential stages for creativity.
